Daphney Chaney is passionate about the word and will of God. She is a prophetic voice for this NOW generation. Whether it is through viral messages or the anointing of her pen, the voice of God reverberates boldly to bring conviction, healing, deliverance and direction to the masses. 

 

Daphney was actively involved in ministry at an early age, but her religion prohibited her from fully embracing Jesus Christ. In 2002, she had a visitation from God that transformed her life forever. This new path became the benchmark of her purpose and preparation for the mantle of God.

 

A woman of great resolve, she is a powerful expository Bible teacher, preacher, prayer warrior, deliverance minister, evangelist, prophet, certified Christian Counselor, and Pastor of New Generation House of Prayer in Houston, Texas. She is the accomplished author of Intentionally Growing into a Young Woman of Faith, Breaking Generational Cycles and Securing Generational Blessings. And her latest book, “Religion Interrupted.”  She is zealous for the cause of Christ, adamant about souls being saved and people knowing the uncompromising truths of the Bible and holiness. 

 

As a teen success coach and women’s mentor, she is dedicated to equipping and leading individuals in spiritual growth. She has spent many years training others, in ministry, prayer, evangelism, outreach, and business leadership. Endowed with many spiritual gifts, and wisdom, she is sought out for spiritual direction, guidance and counsel, by both men and women, young and old. 

 

Daphney is CEO of Emerge Editing and Writing and has published and ghostwritten numerous books ranging from personal testimonies, business leadership to Christian theology. In Corporate America she worked as an accountant for more than 15 years.

 

She has been the keynote and guest speaker for organizations and divisions of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inspire Women, National Women of Achievement, The Social Worker’s Association, and many church and faith-based organizations. In 2009 she was the recipient of the Editor’s Choice award from the International Library of Poetry. In that same year, she became the founder and Executive Director of Intentionally You! Girls and young women’s mentorship organization and hosts the Intentionally You! semi-annual conference. She mentored and facilitated effective workshops for at-risk youth and young adults in schools and universities for several years. In 2011 she assisted in developing curriculums for Destiny youth camp in Liberia, Africa.

 

In 2016, Daphney launched the When Women Wail annual prayer conference. A conference that focuses strategically on prayer and prophetic intercession. She has seen God work miracles through these conferences. Many are birthed into their God ordained purpose, earning her the title, “Spiritual Mid-wife.”  Daphney is the former host of the Intentional Living Blog Talk radio show. She currently hosts her own podcast via YouTube, and various social media outlets. Daphney has also been featured in numerous media outlets including Great Day Houston, AO TV, Houston Business Journal, Women of Wisdom magazine.

 

She is the blessed mother of two adult children, Davion and Morgan, and grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters- Madison and Melody.

 

With all that God has graciously allowed her to accomplish, she knows, she has yet to tip the scales on what God has planned for her. In her own words, “Life hasn’t been all glitz and glamour, I know what it is like to feel hopeless, lost, depressed, anxious, afraid, insecure, and wounded. From joblessness, homelessness, generational bondage, and toxic relationships—God took what was messed up and made something wonderful. His love was the catalyst for revival in my own life.” It is my earnest desire to be a vessel of honor that is used to bring revival in every nation, tribe, and tongue.”
